This might be cheating a bit, as I actually see this tube station every day. I work there. Aldgate East has loads of exits and can really confuse people. Its not a particular pretty station but the exit towards Leman Street has some nice shops and a nice pasta place. I normally exit at Whitechapel High Street to enter Brick Lane, where I work. This is also the exit for the Whitechapel Gallery, which is a nice place to spend lunch in. Here are some pictures. More will follow soon.
