Recently a friend moved to Finsbury Park area. As it was a nice sunny Sunday afternoon early January so I took the opportunity to travel to a station a bit further away and walk all the way to Finsbury Park. I have been to the station before many times, but each time I manage to get lost on the way out. It is easy to get lost on the big round about, which is far from pedestrian friendly. A good way to get a feel for an area is to have a walk around the main streets and look at signs, window displays, leisure centres and alley ways. As soon as you leave busy Holoway road you get into a maze of small residential roads. There are a lot of parks and playgrounds. The one which did strike me was the playground at Sussex Gardens with the colourful murial, prehistoric animals. And some people take off-street parking to the extreme. (Sebastiaan)
