Entry 2:
6 February 2005: It was a girls market afternoon. From Hackney City Farm to the Flowermarket and then onto Bricklane Shoreditch and Spittalsfield Liverpool Street. The flowermarket was brilliant as always, lots of flowers and I even managed to sneak a picture of my friends in :) (Astrid, Karen, Tracey)

Apparently Hackney city farm received a cow from Royal Mail when they launched their special animal stamps

Entry 86:
Broadway Market is an 'up-and-coming' street in South Hackney, a kind of overspill from the artistic community of Shoreditch. Full of galleries, nice restaurants, plus kebab shops and off-licences. Not far from London Fields.

This is a photo through the window of a gallery that specialises in photos of East London; you can see one of the street sign for 'Broadway Market'. A bit self-referential, huh?
