I pass through canada water regularly. It is a lovely station in a nowhere place. It sits in this hinter land on the edge of a carpark, fringed by a shopping centre. It is between the city and the Isle of dogs. There is the big greenland dock nearby which opens up into the river.

The station (first pic) is named after the basin of water shown in the second pic, which is right next to the station, shadowed by a small retail park.

These six are of the canal which connects Canada Water to the thames. You can walk along the canal as far as Rotherhithe.

These two are of a hill called Stave Hill, or Avery Dock Hill, which is my reason for Canada Water/Rotherhithe being my favourite area of London. The four pics below are the views you get from the top.

Looking west, you can see the city.

Looking south, you can see Bermondsey with Crystal Palace in the background. This looks far better during sunset!
