Dalston is a rather run-down area, home to Ridley Rd market. One good thing it has is the http://www.riocinema.ndirect.co.uk/Rio Cinema, showing a mixture of arthouse and Turkish films.

To the east of Kingsland Road are some interesting areas.

This I think was once called Stonebridge, just off Haggerston Road and north of the canal.

dalston_queensbridge

Queensbridge is another off-the-beaten-tubemap area of Zone 2, with mixed housing, quite high property prices and even higher crime rates.
