OK, so Mile End isn't somewhere I've never visited before. Rachel Whiteread's inside-out house used to be up Grove Rd, but unfortunately no longer.

Mile End Park has been interestingly landscaped, and here are three views of the 'Green Bridge', a footbridge planted with birch trees very close to the station:
