Mill Hill East is not pretty and it's not somewhere you'd want to go to, except to visit people - it has few local amenities. It is, however, not far from Mill Hill proper, which is a pretty suburb of London, situation much in Green Belt land, so lots of fields and woods etc. Mill Hill East is on the borders of Hendon and Finchley. The original plan was to continue this line onto Edgware but the plans were scrapped in the 1930s.
