Describe Shepherds Bush here.
April 2005: Now Shepherd's Bush has two stations, one for the Central Line and one for the Hammersmith&City Line - this is slightly confusing especially because they are situated at the two opposite ends of Shepherd's Bush Common. The area either takes its name from shepherds who used to rest their flocks on the common or from a persons name, as it was recorded as Sheppards Bush Green in 1635. It is a very vibrant multicultural area with a thriving market between Shepherds Bush Station and Goldhawk Road. It resembles more a foreign bazaar with many African, middle Eastern and Asian people shopping and trading there (Astrid)
