Westferry is where I get on the DLR to go to work every morning. At this time of year it is dark when I get there and dark when I get back.

Westferry, Any tourist in London with aching feet late afternoon I recommend to get to Bank station and make your way to the DLR. It's important to get a front window seat, which is possible as there is no driver. The trains go very frequent, so it is worth waiting for a next train just to get that front seat. The best time is just before sunset when the sun reflects in the office blocks of Canary warf. The DLR network is expanding, and you may have to change trains at Westferry, a station with great vistas. (Sebastiaan)
